The Fiscal Justice League is back in town (and other exciting news)

Tax Man returns and this time he’ll be supported by other members of the Fiscal Justice League. Be afraid, tax dodgers, be very afraid …

We’ll meet on Saturday, April 2nd at 11.30am next to the Wellington Statue (East end of Princes Street). Bring placards, banners, whistles, drums and tell all your friends. Let’s make it big!

We now have a twitter feed (@EdinburghUncut) and there’s also a video of our last action, which is really good (we are totally not biased here) and will be posted soon.

There’s also other stuff happening in Edinburgh, such as “Theatre Uncut” – which will be great and you should definitely go and check it out:

March 19: Theatre Uncut at Bedlam Theatre

facebook event

Come one! Come all! To Bedlam’s part of the national theatrical debate in reaction to the Governmental funding cuts!

Meeting Point Productions and Reclaim Theatre are spearheading this event in London at the Southwark Playhouse from 16th – 19th March, and have commissioned these fantastic playwrights (including Mark Ravenhill and Lucy Kirkwood!) to write 7 short plays that are intended to provoke thought on who the cuts will actually affect. (Check out for full details on the main project)

On the official Debt Day (19th) these plays will be free of rights for students across the GLOBE to perform (yes there are Theatre Uncut events occurring in Berlin and Chicago amongst other places!) and so Bedlam has taken this opportunity to bring a day of theatre, music, politics and debate to you….
